GNUPS FINALLY ELECT NATIONAL EXECUTIVES

Following agitations and controversies, the much anticipated Ghana National Union Polytechnic (GNUPS) Elections have finally been held with its Administrative seat on Ho Polytechnic campus.

The election which was to be hosted by Ho Polytechnic based on a rotational policy of the union was hit by controversies over the eligibility of one of the candidates. The students accused the school management of attempts to subvert the union’s constitution by disqualifying a successfully vetted candidate. 

The despondency surrounding the exercise heightened a level of uncertainty of Ho Polytechnic not being able to host a seat it rightfully deserve.  

However calm was restored after the Student Representative resolved to smoke the peace pipe by apologizing to the School management for their misconduct.

Below are the results of the elections for the three portfolios (President, National Secretary and Finance Officer)
