VOTE ALL SENIOR MEMBERS OUT- NDC PROPAGANDA SEC

Ahead of the main regional elections of the ruling national democratic congress the propaganda secretary of Awaso west NDC is calling on delegates in the Volta region to vote out senior members of the party who are in the race.

According to the Elliot Wogbe who is also from the Volta region, the so called senior colleagues in the region have rendered the party unattractive in the region despite the available resources and massive investments made by members in the region. He said the senior colleagues had their chances to build the region but blew it hence there is no need to offer them another chance. He accused the senior members of the party of being self-centered and calling for a total overhaul of their positions in the region.

‘’NDC is just a word; is just an alphabet but it is the people who are leading the region that had to be blamed for our woes. They are always looking for their selfish interest; something that they can put in their pockets. The same people who have been in the system before; the Gyapong Kudjos, the Nfojohs, the Kosi Kedems who failed the people in the region have returned asking us to vote for them to be regional chairman. This should never happen.’’

He said he said the region needs young, enterprising and energetic executives that would bring on board proactivity to revitalize the energy and drive of the party in the region to the 2016 elections.

The Volta Region the acclaimed “World Bank” of the NDC in terms of garnering of votes for the party had seen feelings of discontent by the chiefs and people over what they say is the lack of development projects, failed electoral promises and neglect.  The situation is seemly impacting negatively on the party’s fortunes in the region.

The regional elections of the party are on-going in Ho with five aspirants contesting for the chairmanship positions. They are Captain George Nfojoh a former Mp for Ho central, Kosi Kedem, a former Member of Parliament for the Hohoe South constituency , Mr John Kwadwo Gyapong, a former Mp for  Akan Constituency, Dr. Kwame Ampofo a former South Dayi MP and the only kid on the block Mr Mawutor Agbavitor.
