A member of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Mr. Paul Afoko
believes Ghana is well endowed with resources better than Japan and other
developed nations. He said judicious use of Ghana’s human and natural resource
could put Ghana at the same wavelength with developed countries in the world.
With a specific reference to Japan, Mr Paul Afoko said until Ghanaians welcome
visionary and proactive leaders, the gab cannot be bridged.
He disclosed this yesterday at Hohoe during his introductory
tour in the Volta region. The tour according to him is to enable him meet the
owners of the party to tell them his intentions of running as the party’s
national chairman when the time is due.
Mr Paul Afoko who
hails from the upper east of Ghana, a business man based in Accra and married
with four children. He spent decades in England before returning to Ghana to
embark on his entrepreneurial and political agenda. He is currently a member of
the national executive council of the party and he believes he has a lot to
offer when given the nod.
He promised preparing the party to
become an efficient machine to drive them to victory in the 2016 elections and
further asked for support from all party members to bring his ambition into
light.
