The incumbent Mp for Ketu North Constituency Dr James Klutse
Avedzi has warned his contenders of an eminent defeat in the upcoming
parliamentary race on November 21.
Making reference to the biblical story of Moses and the promised
land of Canaan, the MP says although his contenders have the opportunity of
contesting him, their chances of entering Ghana’s parliament are very slim.
He said “when Moses defied the instructions of God in the Bible,
God told he eyes might see the land of Canaan but he can never step his foot on
the land. All those contending Avedzi would see the promise land but won’t step
their feet on the land”.
He said claims by his opponents that, he has neglected the
people of ketu north were untrue. According to him, he has worked enough for
Ghana and the people of Ketu North to deserve a 3rd term mandate.
He was speaking at his campaign launch at Dzodze.
Dr James Avedzi is being contended by three others; Don Emmanuel
Agbanyo, Mr Stevens Ahiawordor and Mr koku Tsreve.
