The incumbent
Mp for Ketu North Constituency Hon Dr James Klutse Avedzi has finally been
cleared to join the parliamentary race of the ruling NDC on the November 7th
following his long absence from the country on official assignment.

An aura of confidence and joy surrounded Dr James Klutse Avedzi on Tuesday when he came out of the vetting room. His supporters also burst into cheers to congratulate him for a successful vetting.
In an
interview with citinews Hon James Avedzi promised a land slid victory in the
upcoming primaries.
“I have
contested two of them in 2012 and the results are there for anybody to see. Now
a new person has joined. And for me none of them is threat to me because I have
the belief and conviction that I would win” he said.
He insisted
parliament is about consolidation of procedures and gathering of experience
where the longer one stays in parliament the better he/she serves the people.
He said
his bid to seek reelection for the fourth term is to help continue with his
good works in the constituency.
He explained
that as a result of his position as the chairman of the parliamentary select
committee on finance he has lobbied for projects to be sent to his
constituents.
“As a
chairman of the finance committee, I have access to ministers who bring
facilities to the house. And through that, I have been able to convince most of
them to focus their attention towards Ketu North. That’s why you see a lot of development
projects in the Ketu North”.
He is
hopeful to stimulate more developmental projects into the area to support the livelihood
of the people if given another chance.
Dr
James Avedzi is being contended by three others; Don Emmanuel Agbanyo, MR
Stevens Ahiawordor and Mr koku Tsreve.
